Data we collect
- Technical data sent by your browser: IP address, approximate geolocation derived from it, user agent, device and referring page.
- Usage data, if you allow analytics cookies: pages viewed and time on page.
- Referral data, if you allow advertising/affiliate cookies: an identifier that lets a partner attribute a booking.
- Form data: whatever name, address and text you put into the contact form and then mail to us.
Purposes
Keeping pages online and protected; analytics, to learn which sections help readers; for marketing, to measure partner links and bookings; and to reply to you. GDPR bases: legitimate interest covers security; analytics and referral cookies rely on your opt-in; answering mail happens because you asked.
Sharing
We share data with hosting and analytics providers acting for us, and referral partners and affiliate networks receive a click identifier when you have opted in to advertising/affiliate cookies and then leave via a tracked link. We do not sell your data for money. Disclosures may also occur where the law requires.
Retention
Raw access logs roll over after a brief window used for troubleshooting. Analytics data is kept in aggregated form. Correspondence stays in our mailbox while your matter is open and for sensible follow-up afterwards. The consent answer lives in local storage on your device until you reset it.
European and UK visitors (GDPR)
Anyone in the EEA or UK may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, pull back consent whenever you like, and lodge a complaint with the data protection authority where you live.
California visitors (CCPA/CPRA)
Californians may find out which personal information is collected, request deletion or correction, and instruct us never to sell or share your details for cross-context behavioural advertising. A GPC header counts as that instruction, and referral cookies stay off. Using these rights never changes how the site works for you.
Minors
Onifutb is written for grown-up travellers. Nobody under 18 should send us details; if a child has done so, ask us and we will erase the message.
